Autumn here in South Florida is so subtle that one might think it doesn't happen. No dramatic changing of the colors. No piles of leaves to rake. Not even a significant change in temperature. Just -- suddenly -- the morning air has a tiny bite to it. The humidity drops. Plants gasping for water in the summer sun now have time to breathe. It's different. But full disclosure, for those of us who come from the Northeast and remember all the splendors of Autumn there -- something very special is missing.

ReplyDeleteAutumn has such an effect on everyone, I read it on every blog. Nature gives us a lot of inspiration and we all seem to want to hold on to it all.
